The 86197 is a gloss meter designed for multi-angle measurement. With its clean ivory white housing made from engineering plastic, it offers a sleek and modern look. It’s ideal for measuring the surface gloss of a variety of materials including paint, coatings, inks, plastics, ceramics, paper, stone, and metal.
This device features three angles—20°, 60°, and 85°—allowing simultaneous gloss measurement at multiple angles. Its wide measuring range of up to 2000GU makes it suitable for high-gloss and mirror-like surfaces. It includes both standard and QC (Quality Control) modes. In standard mode, simply place the device on the surface, and the gloss value appears instantly—no waiting. In QC mode, it can automatically determine if the gloss level meets preset standards, increasing testing efficiency.
